Non Native (Exotic) Plants are mostly hardy coping well in our conditions.

What is a Non Native Plant Species?

Non Native plants are not naturally found in Australia but still perform well in our conditions. During dry periods you may find that some Non Native plants will require watering. Regular fertilising may be required in some conditions.  Mulching around the base of the plant or the whole garden area, once plants are planted, will ensure a constant supply of nutrients along with maintaining moisture. Remember to keep the mulch away from the trunk of the plant to avoid collar rot. Mulch depth should not exceed 100mm.
