Without a doubt I feel better and enjoy better mental health for spending time in the garden.
I always thought it was because it helped me clear my mind whilst providing a gentle source of exercise, well known to reduce stress levels. Well it would seem that there was something else at play….beneficial soil dwelling bacteria.
