This hardy little Gardenia jasminoides is a welcomed addition to any garden design bringing glossy green leaves and perfumed, white flowers during the summer months. The flowering display can be amazing with plants being covered in the stunning pure white flowers.
Growing to about 30-50cm high and 1-1.5m in width this prostrate growing plant may require feedings of magnesium to keep it looking its best. This can be easily achieved with a handful of Epson Salts dissolved in a bucket of water and simply applied to the soil surround the plants base.
Readily available throughout Australia, Gardenia “Radicans” can also be found in a variegated leaf bringing another lovely feature to the garden. With incredible perfume, the flowers can be picked and brought into the house to be displayed in a shallow dish.
